INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING “SUEDE PROTECTOR” SPRAY
Hang garment on a wire or wooden hanger (NOT PLASTIC). Some plastic hangers react with the spray and the colour can bleed from the plastic onto the garment that is being sprayed. Once garment is dry it is safe to hang it on a plastic hanger.
Spray near an open window or in a garage to avoid lingering smell of spray.
Ensure that can is at normal room temperature (not cold or over hot).
Hold can in upright position, between 6 to 9 inches from the garment and spray in an even sweeping movement. DO NOT spray so heavily that liquid builds up and runs down the garment. The colour of the garment will appear slightly darker as it is being sprayed, but will dry back to its normal colour in about 10 minutes.
Leave garment for about 30 minutes before handling.
It is sometimes worth giving an extra spray around the collar, front edges and cuff edges to give extra protection.
Once garment is sprayed, it should not be sprayed again except following cleaning, as you may seal in dirty surface marks.
Sheepskin garments should only be sprayed on the suede surface, although it would not damage the wool if it were sprayed.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING “SUEDE PAD”
SUEDE PAD is most effective for removing surface soiling on garments that have been prior treated with any suede protector spray.
Before using SUEDE PAD, gently rub on an inside facing first to ensure that it does not have an adverse effect on the suede.
Only use on dry, non-greasy marks.
Rub VERY gently, continually checking that you are not removing the surface of the suede.
