Men's Jacket and Coat Sizes
The best way to take your chest measurement is over a lightweight shirt, close but not tight. Please do not allow for thicker clothing, as we allow for this.
This is the measurement we prefer as this is the most accurate.
If you are buying a surprise present and do not know the exact chest size, a good idea is to find a jacket that fits the person well and button it up, then measure from armhole to armhole. This measurement is always 6" bigger than the persons actual chest size.
For example if the measurement is 24", this doubles to 48", you then subtract 6" giving an actual chest size of 42".

Ladies Jacket and Coat Sizes
For ladies, we do not use sizes 8, 10, 12 and upwards as these are not very accurate.
The best way to take your bust measurement is over a lightweight blouse, close but not tight. Please do not allow for thicker clothing, as we allow for this.

Trouser and Skirt Sizes
Measure around your waist, just inside where you like to wear the top of your trousers. Make sure the tape is snug but not over tight.
Hat Sizing
An average head size for a man is 23" (58.5 cms in European Sizing or 7 1/8 UK sizing and 7 1/4 US sizing). The average head size for a lady is 22 1/2" (57 cms in European Sizing or 7 UK sizing and 7 1/8 US sizing).
How to measure your head
Take a tape and measure around the widest part of your head, slightly above the ears (usually around the temple). This should be close but not too tight.

There is no problem whatsoever if you are not satisfied with your purchase, for any reason. When we send you your order, we enclose a simple letter detailing exactly how to return the order to us. When we receive it, we refund the full cost (excluding the delivery charge) to your Credit Card and send you a note by post saying we have done so, usually within 24 hours.
If you decide you like the garment, but want it in another size, we would send the replacement to you without a further delivery charge.
